You need
The burger
- Chicken fillet (halved) or thin-cut chicken fillet
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Smoked paprika powder
- Onion powder
- Cayenne pepper
Breading
- Flour
- 2 beaten eggs
- 3–4 dl crushed cornflakes
Toppings
- Brioche bun
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Red onion
- Sauce of choice
curry dressing
- Crème fraîche
- Mayonnaise
- Curry powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Salt
- A splash of a sweet drink (e.g., juice, orange juice, or Fanta Exotic/Orange)
How to do
The dressing
I don’t use exact measurements. Go by feel and taste as you go. Let it sit, then taste again before serving (the curry flavour develops and intensifies after a while)
The burger
- Pound the chicken fillet until thin
- season both sides, and coat in flour, egg, and finally the cornflakes
- Place the chicken in the air fryer, brush with a little oil and cook at 200°C for 5 minutes, flip the chicken, brush with a little oil, and cook for another 5 minutes
