Chicken nuggets (AF)

Chicken nuggets were invented in 1963 by Robert C. Baker, a food science professor at Cornell University. He designed the bite-sized, battered chicken pieces—originally called “Chicken Crispies”—to solve the meat industry’s struggles with freezing and frying ground chicken without the batter falling off.

- Chicken
- Flour
- Salt
- White pepper
- Onion powder
- Curry powder
- Egg (beaten)
- Panko breadcrumbs
- Rapeseed oil
How to do…
- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces
- Mix the flour, salt, white pepper, onion powder the curry powder
- Coat the chicken bites with the mix
- Then dip the bites in beaten egg, then coat the bites in Panko breadcrumbs
- Spray with a little rapeseed oil
